LOCATION & SERVICE TIME CHANGE
Beginning July 6, 2025, we will meet for worship @4pm on Sundays at 4418 Rea Road, Charlotte, NC 28226 (Hope Community Church: Olde Providence Site). We are grateful to Hope OP for partnering with us, and we are so excited to see how the Lord will work in our church over the coming months! This new space will provide us with a beautiful santuary and fantastic children's ministry space.
Where are we moving?
We are moving to 4418 Rea Road, Charlotte, NC 28226, which is the Olde Providence site (OP) of Hope Community Church. This location is about 15 minutes away from our current location. We are so grateful to Hope OP for partnering with us!
When are we moving?
We will begin meeting at 4418 Rea Road, Charlotte, NC 28226 on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at 4:00pm.
What is the new service time?
Our new worship service time will be Sundays @4pm beginning on July 6, 2025. The service will last from approximately 4-5:15 pm, and we will have until around 6:15 to spend time in fellowship.
Why are we moving?
After almost 5 years in the former SES facilities, we were informed by Mecklenburg County that our building is not properly zoned for a church to assemble. We were given until June 30, 2025, to continue meeting in our space. At that point, we would need to be in the process of having the facility rezoned in order to operate a church. In addition to the zoning issue, our current facility would need significant renovation to make it a suitable and permanent home. Specifically, we are in need of improved children's ministry space. The Session (church leadership) determined it would not be wise to pursue rezoning and renovations at our current location given the financial estimates of the project and the financial position of the church. Thus, we continued the search for a new space! God provided a partnership with Hope Community Church, and we are thankful to have a beautiful and functional place to worship. We are especially excited for the children's ministry space at this new location!
What is the new space like?
We will be worshipping in the main sanctuary. We will also have access to a children's ministry classroom, playground, two connected nursery rooms, and a nursing room. We are so thankful this space gives us room to grow and especially provides us with better and bigger children's space!
How long will we be at 4418 Rea Road?
We are planning to be at 4418 Rea Road, Charlotte, NC 28226 for 6+ months. We are and will be continuing the search for a permanent home. Pray with us as we seek God's will and trust in His provision.
